Plan, supervise and implement the program, monthly goals and objectives, calendar of activities, daily schedule, curriculum, in accordance with the goals and policies of our center. 2. Ensure that program mentors and mentees consistently comply with all regulations and policies and procedures of the partnering agencies as well as our center. 3. Ensure established emergency procedures are followed at all times by all mentors and mentees, ensuring the safety of the participants and staff. 4. Accurately document all incidents/accidents and ensure proper communication to all parties as appropriate. 5. Maintain complete and up-to-date records, including attendance, absentees, and emergency information on all children enrolled. Ensure accuracy and consistency of sign in/out sheets. 6. Provide direction and guidance to mentors on a regular basis. Coordinate mentor schedules and monitor mentor’s arrivals, departures and absences. 7. Coordinate daily program operations including; daily set up, program planning and site maintenance including, but not limited to; cleaning designated mentoring room, wiping down tables, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors, taking out trash, and securing facilities and equipment. 8. Communicate in a positive and effective manner with all participants, school officials, parents, community members and co-workers. 9. Maintain professional demeanor at all times to ensure Family Services image and mission statement are upheld. 10. Assist in the recruitment of mentors.
Qualifications:  Qualifications: 1. High School Degree and 12 units of Child Development or related field required. 2. AA or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field preferred. 3. Minimum of two years of experience working with youth in a comparable setting. 4. Experience working with staff, volunteers, and school-aged children preferred. 5. Must be highly dependable. 6. Must possess a valid California driver’s license with less than two 2 minor moving violations.
