Duties:  Position Summary: Performs community outreach and education duties in Modesto’s Airport Neighborhood with a focus on reducing the stigma of mental health. Duties: 1.Perform community education duties related to mental health and other health issues. 2.Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers to participate in the Prevention and Early Intervention Project (PEI): Community Capacity Building for Mental Health Support from within the community in which the FRC is located. 3.Conduct community outreach through one-on-one contact with families to provide resource and referral information, as well as psycho-education to improve health, mental health, and family functioning. 4.Schedules and facilitates parent educational/support groups independently and/or with co-facilitator. 5.Inform and refer families about available services and encourage them to participate. 6.Assist families in accessing services including translation, appointment setting and non-emergency transportation. 7.Attend any Promotores/program meetings and trainings assigned by the supervisor. 8.Responsible for collecting and completing statistical information, case files, program forms and providing appropriate documentation per program requirements and agency needs. 9.Consults with agencies, schools and community based organizations to make appropriate referrals for community members. 10.Establishes and maintains strong, positive public relations with parents, staff and community. 11.Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:  Qualifications: 1.2+ years experience in crisis intervention, group facilitation, peer to peer engagement and individual mentoring or coaching. 2.Bilingual - English/Spanish required. Ability to speak read and write in Spanish, fluently. 3.Candidates residing in Modesto’s Airport Neighborhood a plus. 4.Experience and ability to work effectively with community members of all ages, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. 5.Demonstrate written and oral communication skills. 6.Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints, if required. 7.Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing, if required. 8.Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance coverage. 9.Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points - if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.

Duties:  SALESPERSON DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Greets customers and determines quality of merchandise desired; • Displays merchandise, suggests selections to meet customer’s needs; • Frequently answers phone calls and provides information to customers and co-workers regarding merchandise and its availability; • Occasionally prepares sales slips or performs register transactions; • Takes inventory of stock and organizes stockroom; • Moves merchandise from stockroom to sales floor or to customer’s vehicle; • Unloads shipment from freight truck; • Promotes merchandise in conjunction with a sales advertisement; • Performs constant maintenance of merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom; CASHIER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operates POS computer system resulting in computation of bills and itemized lists showing amount due; makes change, issues receipts to customers; quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received; • Continuously answers telephones and directs calls to appropriate personnel or departments; • Continuously observes customer traffic for any suspicious activity or unattended customers; • Uses paging system to summon Management and other personnel; • Responsible for greeting every customer as they enter the store and directing them to appropriate departments or personnel as needed; • Provides customer sales and support as needed; • Assists with set-up of current advertisement throughout the store; • Responsible for receiving, promoting and maintaining soft goods and hard goods; • Gives cash refunds or issues credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise; • Completes a variety of documents directly relating to customer transactions (i.e, employee purchases, licenses etc.)
Qualifications:  The Salesperson and Cashier must, by self-initiation, provide friendly and attentive customer service throughout the store. Must maintain a professional atmosphere and communicate effectively with Management, co-workers and clientele. Other duties as assigned.
